Privacy Notice

The short version

• We collect only what you enter: name, email, company, and your workshop responses.
• Your results go to you and the Optiv team supporting your account so they can follow up with you.
• We don't sell your information or share it outside the team supporting your account.
• You can request deletion of your session at any time by emailing charles.hall1@optiv.com.

What we collect

When you start a workshop, we retain:

• The name, email, and company you enter on the setup screen
• Your security stack description (optional)
• Your responses to each challenge scenario
• A session ID, timestamps, and whether the workshop was completed

How we use it

• Generate your report. Your responses are assembled into a personalized gap summary sent to the email you provided.
• Improve the workshop. Aggregated patterns (which challenges people run, where they drop off) help us tune the experience.
• Enable follow-up by your Optiv team. A summary of your session is shared with the Optiv team supporting your account, and with the Palo Alto Networks channel team partnered with Optiv on the Cortex XDR program, so they can answer your questions and continue the conversation.

Who can see your results

Your results are shared with the team supporting your account so they can follow up with you:

• Your Optiv representative
• The Optiv Center of Excellence (COE) team aligned to your account
• The Optiv Partner Architect (PA) team supporting the workshop
• The Palo Alto Networks channel team partnered with Optiv on the Cortex XDR program

No other parties receive your results. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or pass it to any third party outside the Optiv + Palo Alto Networks partnership described above.

Deletion and access

You can email charles.hall1@optiv.com to request a copy of your session data or to have it deleted. We'll confirm within a few business days.

Changes to this notice

If we change how Discovery Lab handles data, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. Material changes that affect existing sessions will be communicated by email when feasible.
